Our fostering information events

Thinking about fostering? Not sure where to start?

Our information events are the perfect first step. Whether you’d prefer to join online from home or meet us in person, these sessions are designed to give you a real insight into fostering with Cumbria:

  • Watch a short presentation about fostering with our service (online only)
  • Learn about the support, training, and different types of foster care we offer
  • Find out what the approval process looks like
  • Hear directly from experienced foster carers
  • Ask us any questions you may have

Wherever you are on your fostering journey – just starting to think about it, or ready to take the next step – we’d love you to join us.
