Speak to our friendly team and foster carers

Thinking about fostering and not sure where to start? Our online information events are a great chance to find out more about fostering from the comfort of your home; offering you the opportunity to watch a short presentation on fostering with our service and to find out more about the support and training we offer, the approval process and the types of foster care schemes we run. Following the presentation you will have a chance to hear from our experienced foster carers and to ask us any questions you may have.

Our face to face drop-in sessions and stands offer the chance to speak to our friendly team and carers and to make an expression of interest in fostering or take some information home with you.

Saturday 28 September – Visit our information Stand at Kendal Torchlight Street Festival in Kendal Town Centre from 10am to 3pm
Tuesday 1 October – Join our virtual information session on Zoom and speak to our friendly team and carers between 2pm and 3pm. To reserve your place email claire.crisp@cumberland.gov.uk
Monday 7 October - Come along to our fostering information drop in at Costa Coffee on Steelman's Walk in Workington between 1.30pm and 2.30pm and speak to our friend team and carers.
Saturday October 26 – Visit our information stand at Penrith Droving in Penrith’s town centre from 11am to 3pm
