Speak to our friendly team and foster carers

Thinking about fostering and not sure where to start? Our online information events are a great chance to find out more about fostering from the comfort of your home; offering you the opportunity to watch a short presentation on fostering with our service and to find out more about the support and training we offer, the approval process and the types of foster care schemes we run. Following the presentation you will have a chance to hear from our experienced foster carers and to ask us any questions you may have.

Our face to face drop-in sessions and stands offer the chance to speak to our friendly team and carers and to make an expression of interest in fostering or take some information home with you.

Wednesday 15 January – Virtual fostering information event from 7 to 8pm. To book a place please email claire.crisp@cumberland.gov.uk
Friday 17 January - Come along to our fostering drop in at Costa Coffee in Steelman’s Walk, Workington between 12pm and 1pm
Friday 31 January - Fostering information stand at Kendal Library, you will find us in the foyer from 12pm to 1pm
Friday 7 February - Come along to our fostering information event at the Costa Drive Thru on Walney Road in Barrow from 12 to 1pm
