Our fostering information events

Speak to our friendly team and foster carers

Thinking about fostering and not sure where to start? Our online and face to face information events are a great chance to find out more about fostering from the comfort of your home; offering you the opportunity to watch a short presentation on fostering with our service and to find out more about the support and training we offer, the approval process and the types of foster care schemes we run. Following the presentation you will have a chance to hear from our experienced foster carers and to ask us any questions you may have.

Our face to face drop-in sessions and stands offer the chance to speak to our friendly team and carers and to make an expression of interest in fostering or take some information home with you.

Wherever you are on your fostering journey we'd love you to join us!

Upcoming events near you

No need to book a place at our drop-ins, just come along to an event near you or email us to book a place on our online information events:

  • Thursday 19 June –  Join our online fostering information event from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and find out about fostering separated children seeking sanctuary during Refugee Week 2025. Could you provide that safe space in a new place?  Whether you are new to fostering or an experienced carer you are welcome to join our online drop-in, listen to a short presentation and hear from our foster carer, Deb, about her experience of fostering young people seeking refuge. To register for our event visit our event booking page.
