Speak to our friendly team and foster carers

Thinking about fostering and not sure where to start? Our online information events are a great chance to find out more about fostering from the comfort of your home; offering you the opportunity to watch a short presentation on fostering with our service and to find out more about the support and training we offer, the approval process and the types of foster care schemes we run. Following the presentation you will have a chance to hear from our experienced foster carers and to ask us any questions you may have.

Our face to face drop-in sessions and stands offer the chance to speak to our friendly team and carers and to make an expression of interest in fostering or take some information home with you.

Wednesday 31 July – Visit our information stand at North Lonsdale Show 2024 at Lindal Cote Farm, Lindal (LA12 0TG), from 10am onwards and speak to our team about fostering.
Saturday 3 August - Visit our information stand at Whitehaven Pride by the Harbourside which takes place from 10am onwards.
Wednesday 7 August - Visit our information stand at Cartmel Show 2024 which takes place at Cartmel Park (LA11 6QF), from 10am to 3pm and speak to our team and carers.
